e-gatematrix's technology systems are hosted applications. Users access the systems over the Internet. e-gatematrix's systems are hosted by Sungard in Alpharetta, Georgia in the United States of America. We maintain dual, independent Internet connections to our systems in the hosted environment, providing a 99.99% uptime connection to the Internet. We utilize a totally redundant systems architecture that provides a backup server for every application in case one is not working. This redundant architecture also provides load balancing for our systems during normal operations ensuring quick response times by our servers.

Data Security

Security of airline information is a top priority for e-gatematrix. e-gatematrix utilizes the Netegrity SiteMinder® product, which uses LDAP Technology, to secure our systems and airline information. Access to InFlight Exchange^™ is restricted using roles-based authentication and authorization for all of our applications, allowing us to specify who gains access to InFlight Exchange^™ and once access is authorized, what applications and information that user has the rights to view.

e-gatematrix also protects airline information as it is communicated over the Internet by utilizing 128-bit, SSL encryption technology. e-gatematrix also monitors log files, which are kept on a separate server, in order to detect any unauthorized access immediately.
